Help, need advice about a new pain after LBL

I had my LBL on 6/29, that is about six weeks ego. I have been healing just fine until today. Around 4:30 in the afternoon, I felt a sharp pain about 2 to 3 inches below my new belly button. The pain is new and feels muscular. There is no redness or swelling or fever. I called my doctor and he told me to ice it and put pressure on it and call him on Monday. Anybody have any ideas what this can be? It is now 10:30 and the pain is the same. It has not gotten any worse, but has not gotten better. I am a bit concerned as this is new. I am wondering if something happened to the stitches where my muscle repair was done.
