Okay everyone.  First off I hope everyone has had a wonderful day.    I hate to be a pest.  Here is the low down or 411.

Surgery: Breast augemtation and extenede arm lift
Registration: 8:00 a.m.
Surgery Time: 9:00 a.m.

Length of surgery: 5 hours
Recovery: about 2 hours.
Then I can come home.

I am about 30 minutes away from my surgeron.  So I should be okay to go home.  I will get my prescriptions the day of surgery.  My mom will fill them while I am in OR.

I know that I will be in my chair with otoman the night I get home at least for the first night I know that I will sleep most of it and the next day.  Just because that is the way all of my surgeries have gone.

I have DVDs that I love to watch.  I have some new books that I am reading.  I have my stool softeners and shakes.  I have plenty of pillows.  I just recently got me a new simmons beauty rest SPA pillow from walmart  that is very comfortable I may get another one of those.

If anyone has any suggestion or thinks of anything else that I will need please let me know.
Also if anyone has any advice about showerin, using the bathroom, and other things that have had BA/extended arm lift please let me know.

Praying everyone has a blessed evening.

Any of the incision care supplies I needed, my PS or the hospital gave me.  You might want to check with your ps' office to ask if there's a list of medical supplies you should have or if you'll be given what you need.

Also, do not use anything on your incisions without clearing with your ps first.  Every ps has their own protocol for how they want you to do things during recovery.  Your best bet is to follow the instructions of the physician who knows you and knows your case.

Keep a note book with you wherever you do your recovery - keep track of your meds, phone calls, instructions, etc.  Pain meds can put you in a fog so you want to write things down to help you later on.

Good luck!
