Jesus this hurts! (BL/BA/TT)

I had my breast lift/augmentation and tummy tuck on Tuesday.  I've stayed on top of my pain meds but I feel like it's not getting any better?  The area above my implants and under the arm are rock hard.  I'm also on a muscle relaxer.  I can't even move it hurts so much.  The drain has been ok but when i'm up for a while, I can feel it starting to burn.  I haven't unwrapped myself since surgery but I will tonight when my husband comes home from work to help.  I've doing the ice too but I end up soaked more so than anything.  Any idea when this will go away? I have to go back to work on monday the 23rd and there is no way i can go back feeling like this!

Your breasts will get better once your ps gives the go-ahead to start massaging them.  That will help soften them and start shifting them down.  I can say though, that my ba/bl didn't hurt that bad.  It was weird not being able to cross my arms but it got better by the second week.  Now I only get some weird twinges when I flex my pecs a certain way (as in trying to reach for something behind me).  It doesn't hurt - just a weird feeling kind of twinge.

As for the drain, I'm assuming that's for your TT since you only mention one.  When you take your dressing off, make sure you clean up around the area of the drain.  The ones I had for my lbl in my mons area, were very tender but I made sure that I took a wipe and cleaned the skin, then also wiped the tubes down too.

If the area where the drain is insert has any sign of infection, call your PS immediately.  It still might not hurt and run any questions past your ps too.
