How much will full TT help pubic mound & inner thighs?

I did have a LBL with a resident program in Kansas City Ks. I am very happy with the results so far. I think I got better care and results there than I would have gotten in some experienced doctors hands. They are highly supervised and trained. The LBL doesn't help the inner thigh but I even got some lipo on my outer thighs. I spent one night in a hospital and my total bill was 8205. I paid 11200 for my inner thighs and eyes last year without a hospital stay and got terrible results from an experienced well respected doctor. You might want to check other programs and go ahead and get the full LBL if you think you might need any help on the backside. It is one time for recovery  also. I have noticed a difference in my back also. I had a roll above my waist and it is gone. I cannot say enough about my doctor. If I had the money I would go back now and get a face lift and my arms done. He is that good in my opinion. Make sure its a resident plastic surgery program. They are already doctors and not advanced med students. I have heard good things about Mexico and you can get more done at one time there. Keep checking until you find what you want.

Wow, that's awesome to know about the Kansas City program!  How exciting.  I think I could do that.  Do you know if they would help coordinate short-term local aftercare for an out-of-town patient?  Thanks!

I had what my PS called a Maxi TT.. He did the anchor cut, muscle tightning, and reduced the size of my mons was reduced by over half I would say (it looks "normal" for the first time since I was 16) so I no longer have a FUPA. The TT did not address my thunder thighs at all.
I am thinking in a year or so I may get a thigh lift and call it good.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info & reinforcement about what it will & won't do.  I'm glad at least that I'm getting the same answers from everyone.

I also had to give you a heart-felt thank you for making me genuinely LOL.  FUPA.  That's awesome.  Been a long time since I heard that one.  F&*!ing' FUPAS.

On a more serious note, how far laterally/ towards your back across your hips does the anchor cut extend?  Hip to hip?  That's what makes it a "Maxi"  TT, right?  I'm really just starting my research on this whole thing.  Thanks!

I am not sure what my PS considers Maxi about the TT, that is just what he calls it..lol

I am cut  from a bit around my back it is from hip to hip. I do have pics on my profile of right after surgery. The incision is easily covered by my panties and bathing suit bottoms.

I had never in my life heard "It" called a FUPA, till my now husband and some friends and I were out drinking one night. They got on the subject of FUPA's and I had to ask for the 411 on what it was.. Boy did I feel silly after it was explained to me, especially since I was the proud owner of one.

Hi Lisey, I'm Pam, was wondering if you'd gotten quotes from ps's?
Maybe just my area, but My ps quote for an extended tt was less than 5900 all inclusive. I'm having a lbl with outer thigh lipo in October staying one night in hospital 12,000 all inclusive. And my 2nd round will be having a medial thigh lift isn't but 3,500. I was really surprised at this price, made sure I got it in writing. Lol
I thought about going out of country but going out of state for my DS and aftercare now has been a nightmare at times. Good Luck on your tt. Pam

Thanks Pam (& EVERYONE ELSE FOR YOUR ADVICE!) !

The plastics you're talking about was with a licensed stateside plastic surgeon?  May I ask who it was & where they're located?  Thanks :)  :)

Okay, I am going to defend the Resident programs. I have had the BEST experience with my residents. I researched for 2 years before I decided on going this route. I met with at least 4 different residents at 2 medical schools during different semesters plus 6 regular plastic surgeons. I loved every single one of the residents and would have had no problems letting them do my surgery. They are supervised by attending physicians who are board certified in plastic surgery. They are already general surgeons, justing specializing in plastic surgery. These attending physicians have their own practice that you can go in and have surgery with  them if you choose. They are in the room with them the entire time actually helping with the surgery, not next door having coffee and a bagel. They are learning the latest techniques and WANT to do the best job possible. Plus there are 2 surgeons working on you not just one.  My resident actually did both rounds of my surgery because Baylor decided to keep him and make him part of the staff and he wanted to continue with me to help me complete my PS journey. He could have easily pushed me off to the next resident but he didn't. Plus I still got to use resident prices even though he could have charged me more after he graduated.

Anyhow, my point is that the resident programs are closely supervised. I have no jagged edges that weren't supposed to be (i.e., my armpit). And if there were any problems, revisions are usually free.  I can honestly say that I have seen some work on here that were from private practice surgeons that have done some bad work on some people. I'm not saying my work is perfect but I think it looks great and the incisions are in the right places and I don't think my work would have come out much better by a regular PS. I have known at least 4 others who have gone to Baylor after me (one went back for round 2) and have had been pleased with their results and not all of them used my resident. I've also spoken to others on here who have gone to other medical schools and were also pleased.

Enough of my soap box. To address you questions about the thighs. I had the LBL so it definitely helped my outer thighs. It helped the front of my thighs a little but not enough. Also, ask about how much the TT will help you mons area. A good surgeon knows to cut any excess pubic skin by excising it from the top of the mons as opposed to just pulling it up without cutting. This is very important. Otherwise you end up with a very high hairline which is unnatural looking in my opinion.

As far as your LBL at the resident program, you may want to wait. I was originally going to use the UT medical school and they didn't want to do the LBL mainly because of my anemia issues. I eventually switched over to Baylor and they had no problem doing it. The resident will need to check with the attending physician and discuss it with him but a lot depends on what the attending physician is comfortable with. You even have some regular PS drs that don't like doing it all at once. I was fortunate enough to have the LBL w/butt auto augmentation plus lipo plus a breast lift done with my school. Maybe waiting a semester may make a difference there.

Just do your research, ask lots of questions, ask about incision placement, meet the attending physician and do your homework.

The number for KU is 913-588-2000 I am sure they will answer all your questions.  I have had such a good result I am trying to figure out how to afford my next phase before Dr Dass leaves.
