I had a tummy tuck a year ago; medicaid paid for it because of other health issues related to the loose skin on my belly.  Now, I was wondering if they can approve me to have the excess skin removed from my arms.  Is a lot of loose skin.  On what grounds may they approve another surgery?  Any informacion will be appreciated.  Thank you.

This post is four years old.  You should start a new thread to ask this question but, you need to find out what your state's medicaid covers.  I

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Medicaid is a state program and as such benefits vary from state to state.  I would think you would need to prove that the excess skin is causing health issues.  Rashes, infections or perhaps interfering with moving your arms.
