OOO WEE is my tail bone sore
I am 2 1/2 weeks out of TT/LBL. I am little worried about my tail bone. I can hardly sit. I never had much of a bootie (even before I lost 150 pounds) I have nothing now. But after my LBL I feel like my tail bone just is covered in skin. I can't sit.
I really hope this is just a function of how much I've been sitting in recoup phase but I worry I'll never be able to sit again without a but implant!!
Anyone ever heard of this?!?

Sorry to tell you this but I am 4 months out and still have tailbone pain really bad. When I get up from sitting it take me a few steps to get straightened up. I am trying to sit in different positions. I have thought about trying one of those rings you sit on after you have a baby. I hope this gets better for both of us but so far has not happened for me. If you find the answer please pass it forward.

I had my LBL in March and had the same problem. It does get better over time. I had broken my tailbone as a kid and it sticks out a bit which made this pain worse. I'm almost 5 months out and it's a lot better. It only hurts now if I sit on a hard surface for a long time. Hope this is encouraging. Best to you. God bless you!

Thank you God! I will always be grateful for the change you have made in me! All glory is Yours!
I had horrible tail bone pain for nearly a year after losing over a hundred #s.
Went to several specialists who looked at me like I was crazy that it had to do with weight loss and/or trauma from two hemmorriod surgerys. I even considered tailbone removal. I did extensive research on this subject, joined a tailbone pain forum etc...
Thank God I waited cause the pain gradually lessened and turned into a deep strange itch.
My pain doc said itching is a form of pain. Nerves are involved here.
Fast forward two years and I would have to say it had more to do with the trauma from surgery.
I am 3 weeks out from an extended TT w/muscle repair and body contouring.
And wow is my tailbone itch back! Tip of my tailbone and the surrounding areas are involved.
If you would like to know more feel free to ask.
