UGH! Holes!

 Hey everyone,

I haven't been on in two weeks. Right now I am in Cancun---whoo hooooo! :-)

Well, I have had two holes in the pits I have been dealing with. One closed up for like two weeks. Then, today, I took my shirt off and looked and it was back open. SO frustrating. My side incisions have a couple of openings here and there, but most seem okay and are scabbing over. 

I am just posting because I was all excited they are healing and then UGH! It opened! Dang armpits!

Sorry you are struggling with healing. I can only imagine how hard it is to heal there. I mean...how stiff can you stand. Anyway, just want you to know I'm thinking about you!

I understand your frustration.  The same thing has happened to me.  My brachio revision (2 weeks ago) is coming very well, and then "pow" - 2 and possibly 3 small openings appeared and are draining.  My surgeon is awesome.  He opened his office this past Saturday morning to take a look at it.  I was blown away that he would do this for me.  It was good that he did.  He placed some more steri-strips on the incision line to keep it from opening any further.  It seem to still be draining a little, but I know that eventually they will close up and heal all the way.  I pray the same thing for you.  It's kind of troublesome for me, because of all my previous procedures, this is the only time that this has happened.  I've heard of other experiencing this, but I never had.  Well now, I can truly say that "I understand" what it's like.  :(
