Botched TT
I had a baby in April and she was delivered by c-section my ob told me that my incision would not heal right with the lose skin so he did a tt too. He took 9 pounds of skin off I wish I had a before picture but I dont. He messed it up it looks horrible and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good surgeon that they could recommend for me also do you think my tummy can be fixed I got a consult on Aug 12 th but I am prolly going to have many consults before I choose a surgeon. I am also wanting to lose about 20 more pounds first.

It looks like a skin-only procedure was done, rather than the usual muscle sculpting, belly button rejuvenation, pubic lift, and multitude of other things that go into a properly performed tummy tuck.
My opinion is that you could expect a significant improvement if your surgery is done by a board-certified plastic surgeon.

I agree, it looks like only a panniculectomy was done, just skin removal. I feel certain that with a good plastic surgeon you can expect great results with a full tummy tuck with muscle tightening. Going on more than one consult is a good idea. Don't be too hard on yourself. Best of luck to you and please keep us posted.

I'm surprised that your ob wouldn't of had a plastic surgeon in the OR with him. I had a hysterectomy a couple years ago (vertical incision) and from what I read from a hysterectomy forum was to ask about a tummy tuck at the same time. I did, my ob/gyno said no. Basically it was too much of a procedure for him to do effectively.
A certified PS should be able to repair what was done. I think your ob/gyn called it a TT when that's not really what he did. Like the others said, more just a panni than a true TT.

He wanted one in there with him but she wouldnt do it till I was 6 months post op from the csection she said that my uterous would shrink and mess up her work. It may be a panniculrctomy removal, but then why did her decide to cut a new belly button when he didn't remove the other one. I have a consult on the 12th YAY!!

I've been looking at PS before and afters for a long time now while planning my own, and I have to say I've seen many beautiful results who's befores looked FAR worse before then you do now.
If a good PS can fix a panni that hangs to the knees, and even give them a nice waist and booty, then your tummy should be a walk in the park.
