I thank those who've replied since I had wondered for many years if I was over-reacting when my doc said these were 'satisfactory results'. This is from my first PS. After he made those comments I went to another PS of wide reputation at a teaching hospital and was made much worse. Those are the photos in the second album.

The first PS scars were at the edge of the labia so they are pulled outwards and downwards the thigh those inches. It is a result of over-cutting on the table. So the hair you see in those photos is the labia.

Maybe you should send your story to one of the medical tv shows like The Doctors and ask for advice. You might get lucky and they could get you some expert help. Sounds like you need an expert.

I just wonder how many people an expert had to ruin before they get to be an expert. I mean what is going on in Amerika?  Was it always this way? I thought doctors used to learn procedures on cadavers. Now it seems plastic surgeons can try  just about any thing during elective surgery to a living  person's groin or breast or labia and there doesn't seem to be much interest or study as to just what  all this  "connective tissue maneuvering" can mean to the body. Maybe there is though and study results are  being locked away. I've read that it takes 7 or more years for skin to totally heal or to renew itself anyway.  That would make for a long testing period before results can be determined. I had my surgery in 2001 and have been though so many changes. The first 5 years my skin just rebelled from the affront /insult commited on it. Lately  it's  acting like it wants to be my friend  again and we're both working on getting back to some sort of "normal." It's hard and maybe impossible but at least it's trying with me. One would think the bio mechanical research PhDs could chime in with  some standards/guidelines. The groin is an extremely complicated area and mine was just pulled super tight every which way and cut off and sewn to the top of my femur bone area. It was  perfectly okay but now what little groin I have left  and my inner leg opening are  completely  eroded  from a type of centripetal  force field  after Iowa City circumferential belt lift.
That rap singers mother died and all from her abdominoplasty but her doc was just "conveniently"  labeled as person who sometimes drinks alchohol.  End of story. Ho hum let the carnage continue unchecked.
