financing?

Hi guys!  I've never posted on this board before but I'm looking for advice.  I'm having extended mastopexy done in Sept.  How did you guys finance your surgery?  I can always go to my bank and apply for a private loan, but wondered if there was a better way to go with this.  Suggestions anyone?

Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like nobody's watching!

We have a home equity line of credit with an interest rate that is better than any other financing options we researched.  I also have affinity credit cards - since everything had to be paid before the first cut, I split the payments over 3 months; charged my visa for a 1/3 of the total payment.  And after a week of the charge went through on my credit card, it was transferred to my home equity line of credit.

Basically, I accumulated a boat load of hotel points and then switched it over to home equity for the low interest rate.

I  recommend Care Credit. That's what I used and it has worked great for me. Best to you. God bless.

I used Care Credit and a personal loan from our credit union. Those worked great for me. Best to you on your upcoming surgery. God bless you.

I also used care credit. The best part about it is that since it's a credit card, when you pay it down you can use it again for other procedures if you want to.

The best part for me was that since I used my care credit card at the surgeons office, they were willing to pay the surgery center and the anesthesiologist (who didn't take care credit) and run the whole thing through on their end. That allowed me the option to finance the entire thing and not have to use the cash I had on hand.

I tried going the Care Credit route, but they only approved me for $50000. That wouldn't even cover the ansthesia cost. For those of you who went through them how much were you approved for?

$50,000.00 wouldn't cover anesthesia?
