Constipation...a hard subject
Hi all,
I thought I throw this out there because an earlier post.
Most people get constipated on pain meds. Sometimes, even if you have stool softners, you get constipated anyway. Especially with TT because it is difficult to push at first.
I can't recommend having Glycernin suppositories on hand more. They work from the back side so generally won't interfere with other meds or the various types of WLS. And they are FAST and effective.
Of course, talk to your surgeon first, but suppositories really helped me out with this surgery and after my rny!
Here's to smooth moves!

OMG I agree they were a life saver for me!!! Softeners, prune juice, and laxatives were no help at all after my surgery and I became impacted. The suppositories worked right away from the "other end" and got things moving. I had never used them before but I am a believer now!!
