Hi!
Here's an update on all my procedures....
The incision from my tummy tuck has healed BEAUTIFULLY!!!!!! I had the Anchor Cut TT done last Sept and still LOVE my results. I love the hour glass shape the Anchor cut gave me. The muscles are still nice and tight, no muffin top, a cute little belly button and a great waistline! My surgeon did an awesome job!
Last Dec I had the rest of the LBL...Butt lift and outer thigh lift. The scar that runs all the way around the butt is almost completely invisible...it's healed really well. The wound on my right butt check finally healed...so glad there is no more wet/dry packing. I'll have a scar from it but the surgeon may try to do something to fix it when he does my last bit of work at the end of the year. FYI - I guess the butt auto augmentation is healing and feeling is coming back to the tissue that he used to great the "flap" because it is feeling really weird lately...for about a month now. I may call the surgeon to see if this normal.
Forehead/face/eyes.....were all done in Feb. I'm just starting to get some feeling back on the top of my head....it feels weird....still mostly numb all around the ears and I have 2 horns on top of forehead... Good thing I have a pretty thick head of hair which covers the horns because they really look weird! I need to take a picture because they really look funny.
In March my surgeon fixed the botched brachio.....(he didn't botch it, another surgeon did).......now I LOVE my arms, finally!!!! My surgeon did a fantastic job getting rid of all the sagging skin that the first guy left. He was able to move the incision nice and low so once it all heals it will hardly be noticeable. Most of the feeling is coming back in my arms...just some numbness towards the top of the arm...right before the armpit.
My inner Thigh Lift (long incision) incision has healed nicely....it is so nice and thin. There are a few wrinkles and bumps but the surgeon will do some minor revisions at the end of the year.
So what's next for me........well now that everything is basically healed from the waist down and we can really see how things have settled, I am left with quite a bit of saggy skin in the back of my thighs and it's created a new set of saddle bags (which I'm NOT happy about). Sooooo I will be going in for one more round to get rid of this......it will mean another incision that will run along the lower butt crease and may run up to meet my thighs....hard to describe but I'm told it will all be hidden by panties (I think the incision will go along the line that the elastic on the bottom of panties legs goes).
Overall I'm very happy with all my results.
If I had to over any advice to anyone it would be to TAKE IT SLOW.......plastic surgery is not a race and it is not a small thing. The body takes a beating and it takes time to recover. I'm strong and healthy and normally recover quickly but I can feel the toll it's taken on my body. Also, give yourself enough time to recover in between each procedure....let things settle before you do the n
next procedure........and lastly and probably most importantly, LISTEN TO YOUR GUT! You'll know in your gut when you found the right surgeon for you....if something doesn't sound right ask for clarification.
Hope you all are happy, healthy and healing nicely.

Glad to hear you have healed nicely and are satisfied with your results!
I am almost 4 months post-op extended TT with lipo, WLS scar revision (which allowed for an anchor cut TT), and breast lift. My scars in certain places are STILL red, itchy and sensitive! I have a bit of a "blob" over top of my belly button that the surgeon is going to fix in the fall; simply a matter of removing a bit more skin under local anesthesia. My lower abdomen is FLAT! I love my boobs! I just wish the scars felt better; will address that at my next appointment as well.
I seriously doubt there is more PS in my future; but never say never!!

Hi - I am researching getting the arms and face/neck lifted - heard about Dr. Bello in Mexicali - referred highly by Dr. Aceves office - so can you let me know what the name of the surgeon was who botched the arms....and how they were botched so I know what to look out for? And who did the great job of fixing? Thanks Much!

Hi.
I can assure you the surgeon who botched my brachio was not the doctor you are going to.
The problem I had was that the original surgeon did not take off enough of the saggy skin....he took off some but left most of it. Plus the way he cut my armpit left me with a very strange "web like" piece of skin instead of an arm pit....it was rather uncomfortable to say the least. I have a picture posted which show my before, after the first brachio and then after my current surgeon fixed everything.
The surgeon who fixed my arms and did all the rest of my surgeries is in Florida....if you want contact info send me a PM and I'll send it to you.

Well Donna you will soon have some first hand information. I am booking a face lift with Dr. Bello on March 7th 2011. So I can give you the low down. I too had surgery RNY Gastric Bypass with Dr. Aceves. He recommended Dr. Bello but | can't find a thing on him online.
You said you heard he was an artist at face lift....can you tell me where you heard that? And if you heard anything else since then.
I list 115 lbs and my face is wrinkly and I want to just look normal. I have spoken to him twice already and he is awesome!!! Quoted $6500 for full facelift all inclusive.
I'll give you more info as i get it if you are interested....maybe we could go together????

Ruth-I am so happy to know you have done so well physically and are so happy with your results. Now that is what I call a win-win situation. Oh, and you are so right about the timing. I too think it is important to give one self enough time to heal before having another procedure. It not only makes sense physically but also aesthetically. It takes a little while to truly know what the final outcome of plastics is going to look and feel like.
