Liposuction after bariatric surgery?

Thanks for everyone's comments. This is exactly the kind of information I was trying to find. I have so much weight around my middle and thighs, but lap band and other "internal" surgeries seem so scary to me. Lipo seems like an easier way to remove the fat. But from what you all have said, Liposuction doesn't really work for weight loss ...but just for toning after weight loss. However wouldn't you still have to get some sort of plastic surgery to remove all the excesss skin...or does lipo tighten up the skin too?

Sorry for all the questions...I am new to all this. But desperately want to have surgery soon! I am so tired to caryimg around all this extra weight!

Also, I am glad to hear that someone had great results in Costa Rica. I totally can not afford US prices for lipo or any other type of surgery. However for me, Mexico sounds good, as I live in San Diego so it would be an easy trip. (no flight costs!)
