Well I had my surgery on Monday & I am glad its over with. I was very nervous, and scared! I was in surgery for 12 hours and when I woke up I was in the worst pain I have ever felt.
I had a hard time coming out of anesthesia, all I could do was cry! I came out of surgery at 10PM, and cried until 5AM!!!!!!! At 7 AM my surgeon & her team came in and explained everything to me & showed me what they had done. My thighs......well, truthfully I dont see alot of difference. Maybe not as many wrinkles & dimples, but I also know I am swollen. They hurt the worst......they feel like they are on fire! My tummy.....holy cow! There are no more rolls of skin! Of course its swollen too, and the incision freaked me out but I was happy. My MONS,......well she hadnt looked that happy in years! My breasts....... all I could do was cry! I went in being told I would probably come out a B cup, and I have never been under a double D, so I was kinda freaked out by being so small. When they showed me, all I could do was smile & cry......they were perfect. They were big!!!!! A perfect D! They didnt hang.....they were perky, something they had never been!!!!!!
I only stayed over night and came home the next day. Yes, I am in pain & yes  I am swollen....but each day it gets a lil better. I still think my thighs are the worst......my breasts & tummy dont hurt too bad at all, more like a dull pain. I am scheduled to have my catheter & pain med ball removed tomorrow & I am freaked out with that......I am a sissy! LOL
I have 4 drains and there is only 1 that seems to drain alot.....is that normal? My doc said that its not a bad thing. I want to thank everyonr for all the support! Muah!

Glad to hear that you are home and doing well. I had breast implants years ago, and that was the most painful surgery I've ever had. I can't imagine going thorough all that you have gone through at once. Feel better soon!

wow 12 hours and that was a lot of surgery.. thank you for sharing as I am getting ready to go down this road and it helps to hear what some one else goes thru...I hope all goes well with your healing... I always dread the drains coming out also.  take care and keep us informed how you are doing....Pat

My thighs were the worse painwise for me too. I bet having so many areas worked on all at once was pretty tough. I think doing the thighs alone might not have been so bad but when you add with other stuff...NOT fun! Did you have augmentation or just a lift. I just had a lift and my breast got quite a bit smaller after the swelling went down which I wasn't too happy about. They look great but I would have loved them to stay the size they were right after surgery.

Please take it easy. You really did have a lot done and for a long time. The anesthesia alone will make you feel out of sorts so just hang in there. It does get better!

Wow, that is  alot to go through! I still have 4 more procedures to get until I am done, but I couldn't imagine getting them all done at once and then have to deal with the pain and recovery. You must be so miserable!

Good to hear you're home and doing better. Thats alot of surgery at one time...I'm about ot have a partial hysterectomy (i had my uterus removed last year..he didnt want to remove my ovaries because of my age "38 then" so he left them...now they are causing pain so he's going in to remove those) I was told to inquire about having a tt..i go for a consultation Aug 17th. I'm nervous as all get out!! I'm a former gastric bypass patients had it done 2003, i've been maintaining since! Although i have the sagging tummy. I would love to have my a breast reduction done at the same time too..but i'm thinking i may be pushing it! I hear tt are very painful and the swelling is out this world. Is that true? give me some insight please! I would have by ob-gyn perform the ovary removal and ps doing the tt they have worked together a number of times per the ob-gyn nurse. What yal think? should i go for broke and have the breast done too? And do yal think insurance will pay some of this being that i have to have my ovaries removed anyways?

I had my thighs and breasts done at the same time.  My right leg drain was over achiever with output.

When I had phase one, I had one drain from my lbl that was the over achiever.  So yes, it's normal.

Thighs were tough for me too.  I had my arms, sides, lbl and butt done at the same time and it was no where near the challenge as the thighs.  Breasts were easy too.
