12 Week Pictures

I don't normally post on the plastics forum but am a regular "lurker".  I usually just post on Dr. Sauceda's patient board. With that being said, I wanted to post here so other people can see the progress of the plastics journey and the many changes.

Well I promised I would document my progress with pictures beyond the standard 6 weeks.  I found that frustrating when I was researching plastics and Dr. Sauceda.  Seems like everyone stopped posting pictures at 6 weeks and I wanted to see what scars looked like further out.  So they are posted...

Password is Plastics and I have it also listed in the intro at the top of my profile.  I can never remember everyone's password so I tried to make it easy and put it there.  As time goes on I feel a revision might be down the road.  I am back to working out but still very sore in the tummy.  I am also still trying to get rid of some extra weight still.  I weighed 160 when I had surgery and now weigh 164 but look 10 - 15 pounds heavier??? I even had to buy some size 10 capri's due to the swelling/pooch.  Have a nice day!!

Collage of before and after hopefully it works (it takes a seconds to load):

Our bodies look so much alike before plastics! Your scars seem to be healing nicely. I love your arms, they look great! I think Dr. S makes nice boobies hehe. Does he always put the implant above the muscle? Your legs look great! Most of your belly is nice, but I too would want the pooch/overhang fixed. Seems like I have read he is good about doing revisions... I happy for you that you have the bikinis. You look great and have every right to wear them! Thank you for sharing your 12 weeks pics!

Thanks,  I am loving wearing sleeveless tops and they don't flop around when I am on the eliptical.  As far as the boobies the standard here in the states seems to be under the muscle.  Mine are over, and it seems like Dr. S usually does over.  Dr. S thinks they are more natural as time goes by, that they look more normal.  They are silicone mentor gummys.  I am trying to work out more to decrease this tummy pooch as Dr. S says its fat in there.  He is very good about revisions and if it comes to that then so be it!!  We are having a pool built so I figured I would wear the bikini at home not out in public!!  Its very difficult to keep my scars out of the sun,(living in Florida and mowing the grass etc)  I think that is why they are more purple these days. Hopefully they will fade!! Toni

I bet you are excited about the pool! We are starting to think of getting one in the next yr or 2... You look good enough to wear that bikini any where you are comfortable!

Thanks for sharing these- you look great! I am 6 wks. out and had been wondering what to expect from my scars at 12 wks., 18 wks., etc.

Just out of curiosity, I've heard that most dr's in Mexico use twilight sedation. If you had that with Dr. S, how was it?

Yes it was twilight with an epidural.  My surgery was 10 hours long.  I had none of that awful shoulder pain I had with RNY and no gas.  That part was so much better!!   I normally have low Blood Pressure and it was the same for this procedure also.  It lasted a couple of days really low and then back to "my normal".
