Thanks to all for their input on friday's post about tt and lbl...so here's some more ponderings:

-has anyone had a tt alone and later on did the rest of the lower body (inner and outer thighs/hips/butt)?

-or, the above with any moderation??

Be happy.

There are people on this forum who have done the LBL in stages. Moosie is one I know for sure and I believe Shari (Jupiter) just had the butt part of hers done after having the TT last summer.

Personally I had my LBL done at one time and then 3 months later went in for a MTL. Not sure I could handle more than 2 surgeries plus I didn't have that much time I could take off of work. I'm more impatient and wouldn't like waiting for the next round to get things completed. Want instant results right away.

I had my LBL in two parts.  The doctor did not want to do it all at once because of my clotting disorders.  I had the TT and then several months later I had the butt lift/w auto augmentation and outer thigh lift.  I had great results and a pretty easy recovery after each part.

Have you considered what scars you will be left with after each surgery? Is this with the same surgeon?

The first surgeon I saw suggested the LBL with thigh lift in the first operation. During this operation he would repair my hernia, tighten the muscles and remove the pannus all with a scar that is hidden in my underwear. The second surgeon doesn't do LBL and he wanted to just do the tt/hernia repair first then send me for LBL elsewhere. Well that would leave me with a large scar down my abdomen in addition to the LBL scar. I know some people here need the anchor cut so for them this plan would work - but I would prefer to not have more scars than necessary. Something to think about......
