Post op update TT/BR
Had my surgery on 6/28 with Dr. Kent at Le Veta surgical center. Great staff...excellent bedside manner.
Had a few hiccups with Kent's office staff getting paperwork, etc. But I'm very familiar with Kent so I knew I'd be fine in his care. The last hiccup was that I arrived at 6:30AM for my appt to find my surgery had been postponed (for quite a while) till later that day...
Got back to surgery center. Staff was efficient and fun. Got the tribal markings from Dr. Kent. It was amazing to watch his eyes move as he 'designed' my new body with a sharpie!
Told everyone that would listen that I don't do well with anethstesia (major nausea). They gave me something in my IV a motion sickness patch and other meds post op...still sick :-( But not as bad as usual.
Woke up in prayer thanking my heavenly Father!
Went to After Care home for a night...
Basically slept 3 days straight (yeah for oxcycodone). Stopped taking meds 1 day shy of a week. now just taking ES Tylenol and Tylenol PM (though it didn't seem to help last night).
My incision lines are so thin and my belly button looks amaizing already! My boobies are little (relatively speaking...seem to be about a D cup) and perky (haven't seen them stand on their own since I was a pre-teen).
Had drains in the boobs (where he did lipo under my pits) and in my abs. Boobs came out after two days, abs after a week (I was never releasing much fluid...though my upper thigh are holding a lot today!)
Someone asked whether it was a good idea to double up on procedures. For me it has been great. I honestly don't even realize (much) that anything was done to my boobs (pain wise). He said most people who have boobs and tummy done at the same time rarely complain about boob pain.
That's my story and I'm sticking by it. I have some b/4-afters. Not sure how I'll share them yet. They're not great since I took them my self. Send me your email addy if you want to see them.

Hi Kim,
Kent and I were talking about him getting an FB page and I told him you and I were 'discussing' him online anyway...but also told him it was all good!
Did they tell you I said hi?
My next appt is tomorrow. Sutures out of my bellybutton...which looks amazing already if I didn't mention it alread. and out of my hips where the drains where.
Then again on Monday to have the steri strips removed. Ouch!

My I ask where Dr Kent and La Veta Surgical Center is? Sounds like you're estatic with the results.
If I take the ps plunge next year I'm going for no implants, small and perky plus a panni removal only. My muscle tone is good and I'll never be a VC model anyway, lol.
