Hi everyone! Good Morning from S. California.

Tomorrow will be 4 weeks out of my penni and hernia repair surgery. I'm eagerly waiting to go bike riding at the beach...

Have any of you excerised or anything else by the 4th week?

I will be 2 weeks out from my bl/ba and Im so ready to get back to exercising. Im going to wait for the docs ok because I would hate to mess anything up. I am being more active around the house and walking a bit at the mall. At this point just that takes all my energy :)

hey there!

By then I was cleared for light walking on the treadmill and light biking - but my PS was speaking in terms of stationary bikes.

I wouldn't get on a real one for fear of falling.  Check with your PS though.

I had a lbl and ba/bl. My dr. gave me clearance to start with 10 min of cardio and limited weight work at 2 weeks out. He let me add 10 minutes of cardio a week to my daily routine. Last week, when I was 4 weeks out, that meant I could do 30 min of cardio a day plus the limited weights. I did the treadmill at 3.5 miles an hour and a 10% incline some days, and others I went to my step aerobics class. I did not do the jumping or hopping, though.

Thank you ladies for your feedback. I'm so ready to move around, ride a bike and go jogging. I have flabby legs and I need to tone them up a bit.
