Another follow up

So today I had my official two week follow up from the second round of procedures.  I say official two week because I saw the ps two additional times last week for concerns regarding my drains after my first official follow up.

Anyway - I still have to have the drains in as the output is still a bit high.  I have to call the office on Thursday morning to report the output and if low enough by Thursday, then I can have them out then.  Otherwise, they come out Monday.

He snipped out most of the security stitches in my groin.  So that's a few less things poking at me.  The rest he'll remove when he takes out the drains.

My breasts - he changed the tegra-derm film on the incisions underneath my breasts and the steri-strips around the nipples. He said those will fall off on their own so once they come off, they're off.

I now get to wear an ace wrap above my breasts when I sleep to help push the implants down.  And he advised getting more aggressive with the massaging.

I wasn't planning on returning to wor****il 7/26 because my job requires air travel, but my company has assured me that if I want to come back earlier that they would have work for me that I can do from home.  So he cleared me to return to work as long as I don't get on a plane before 7/25.  Working from home will be a nice transition back to a regular 8 hour day.  I let my management know and they're all happy for me to return; my west coast client is anxious for my return as well.

So aside from the drains still being in, it as a good follow up.  Hopefully Thursday the output will be low enough for the drains to come out.

Thanks for the update Lisa. I'm glad things are going well. I understand how nice it is to have those groin sutures removed, pokey little buggers they are! I was so happy when Dr. M took mine out. I look forward to seeing your final results. God bless you, take care.

I would have gladly left the stitches in if he would have taken out the drains.  My cat is getting way too curious about them.  :/

I saw your pics and you look great.  Do you have an incision down to your knee?

Yeah, drains do suck! I'm so glad I didn't have to have any this time! I feel your pain though.

Thanks. My incisions actually go to just below my knee on both legs.

Glad you got good reports. Hopefully those drains will be out sooner rather than later!

Sounds like you're doing well, except for those drains. I guess having the drains in is better than developing other problems.

Also being able to get back to work is great news - nice way to ease back into your normal routine.
