Indiana Plastic Surgeons

I am ready to start getting consultations and do't know where to start. I am looking for a surgeon experienced working with bariatric patients. I have heard that Dr. Turkle is a good surgeon, but that she is focused primarily on money. I had the name of a woman doctor here in Indiana that was very experienced working with bariatric patients, had great reviews, and was known for working hard getting things covered under insurance(even medicaid). My computer got a virus and I lost my bookmarks and for the life of me I can't remeber her name. Anyone know who I am referring to? Anyone know of any good residency programs in/near Indiana? I have medicare as my primary insurance, and medicaid as my secondary. I am looking to have a tummy tuck/lower body lift done, and possibly some other work later on. I know insurance probably won't pay for everything, but every little bit helps. Any names/info. would be greatly appreciated, as I have to get started somewhere. Thanks!

I don't know the name of whom you speak, however, you might want to try the "find a plastic surgeon" link at the top of the page.  It might be possible that once you see the name you'll recognize the name.

There have also been some posts over the past few weeks with "residency" in the title if you page through the threads you may find some info.

Dr. Debra Bergman was my surgeon, and the one you might be referring to.  She worked sucessfully  on my behalf to get part of my Tummy Tuck covered by my insurance.  She is an awesome surgeon, and has a great bedside manner.  Good luck.
