Liposuction and WLS -- do they go together?

I keep thinking about having it done. I think I have lost all the weight I am going to, but now I have a flabby stomach.  All my life previously when I have lost weight I had a small waist. Guess menopause took care of that! I worry about whether it is worth taking a chance on my life and health for something that is essentially cosmetic. It would be wonderful to have a nicer stomach, but I'm not 30 anymore, so is this something I really need to pursue?

I had some lipo during with my lower body lift. It caused the most nerve jangling pain, but I don't know what the results would have been without it.

Do you know anyone who had lipo before WLS?

Yes,I did .. she went to Mexico thinking this was the " easy way out " she came back bruised , mamed and ashamed as what he did to her was an abomination . She had weight take out ,but it looked like he used a vacuum cleaner to do it ,rather than the small canula they use now . She went onto have the Band ...

Do you know anyone who had lipo after WLS but before more major plastic surgery?

No , most PS patients, I am told have their lipo done during the actual plastic surgery proceedures. I know for me I signed a paper saying that it maqy be necessary to use this proceedur. I signed it , butt they did not have to use it .
Any experience with lipo after major plastic surgery?
( See Above )

I know of no one who has gone through lipo before or after weight loss surgery and have no experience myself.

I am 15 months out but no plastic or lipo yet.  Would love to be able to do plastic but up to doctor.  I have gone this far at age 69 so why not go further.  Would like to see my body shaped up again.  I think it is as bad to carry extra afterwards as it was before.  Looking forwad to talking with others who have had plastic and removals.

I've never had a desire to have plastic surgery or lipo.

I had major liposuction done 3 years before my gastric bypass.  I have to say, it has affected the results of my plastic surgery since the fat cells are not distributed evenly.  No one's fault, just a result.

Also... my mother passed away three weeks after I had had this procedure done and I regained everything back (40 pounds/6 liters of fat) within a year.  I would caution everyone to wait and truly research.

This is an area I truly know nothing about. I am curious to learn more about this subject as well. I do not know anyone personally only what I have read in blogs online or magazines.
If it works I say go for it. I don't think it would be somethng i would ever do, but many people have it done every day so there is obviously a need.
My next plan is Boobies. I am in the lay away plan for those, lots of skin to fill.
