Okay, what is the secret to the PSJourneys.com website?????????????

I have to say that I am frustrated with the site.  I paid for the premium membership (because the basic seemed useless) & it took 3 days to gain access.

I have been on it everyday along with OH & MMH.  It is definately a difficult set up.  For instance if you are reading a post & the member says they have pictures to share, you can't click on their name & go to their profile.  You have to go out of the forum you are in & into the "galleries" look them up by name & hope you can find them.

Also when I do a search for a Dr. it does not bring up all the posts about that Dr.  I have to navigate through A LOT & still feel frustrated & taken into lots of dead ends.

Maybe I am doing something wrong.  I have not posted yet, so maybe I will break down & ask for help.

The other frustrating thing is (this is not the sites fault) is that I can't find any Dr. in TJ, MX without recently posted positive posts.  If I do find a good lead there is usually not very many posts on the Dr.  I know all docs have good & occasionally some bad outcomes.  It is just very hard becasue people tend to post a lot more when they have a bad outcome than they do when they have a positive experience.  I think that is human nature, but I am not sue that this website is going to bring me any closer to trying to find a Dr I feel confident doing my PS out of the states.  Money is an issue, but my safety & results are first & foremost.

Good luck navigating once you get your membership "approved".  I hope I start to feel like it was worth paying the money for the membership & that I am not wasting my time, becasue the navigation tools are not set up very well.

It's not your fault, it is just a horribly designed site which makes it hard to navigate.

I became a member since there was more info there on traveling for PS than anywhere else I could find, but also waited several days for the membership to become effective. I wish they would nuke the site they currently have, and do a re-do with a programmer that has a clue.

Thank you both for replying.  I will consider the $35 fee a contribution of sorts to the site owners.

It's such a shame that site is so difficult and now so dead.  I started my ps journey almost 4 years ago and it was very active and there was so much good information available.  I check in there every once in a while and there's hardly anything happening.  I asked last year if there was another site that people going out of the US were using because it seemed everyone just up and left but no one knew of one.

I will say I do much better logging into the original site, not the beta site.  You'll be asked the first time you go which one you want.  The beta site is a mess.

Good luck everyone.
