Arm Garment: Emergency

OKAY: Everything is going great... Love the arms BUT this is my last weekend off... Had surgery 4 weeks ago and breat surgery 6 weeks and go back to work Monday or Tuesday...

THE ISSUE: I do not mind wearing the garments but all of my clothes are short sleeved and it is hot and I want to wear my arms out... Dr. S said to wear the garments for 6 weeks, which I will, but do you all think that it will work out if I do not wear it today only (just the arm ones)... I have been wearing them 24/7...

Please advise immediately because I need to pick out my outfit... Thanks

My Dr. wanted me to wear mine for 6 weeks, however I went back to work at 4 weeks and the garment could be seen. I asked my Dr. if it would be ok to not wear them during the day while at work and then put it on once I got home and at night. He was fine w/ that but I noticed that I felt much better while wearing them all day long b/c the swelling was much worse at night if I didn't have them on.

I think for an afternoon for a day you'll be fine, just be sure to put them on once you get back home.

I had my arms and boobs done May 5th so I am about 7 weeks out now.  I haven't been wrapping my arms or wearing a compression garmet for a good two weeks already.  Doc said I didn't have to and I'm feeling fine.  I'm swelling a tiny bit more now because I've gone back to the gym and lifting weights this past week but otherwise I'm fine.  As for the boobs I've progressed from the corset like bra that the doc gave me, to a sports bra about a month ago.  I've been pretty much wearing it 24/7 but just the last two days started sleeping without it.  God does that feel good!
