LBL and BL? When were you cleared for working out?

I dont know about being an inspiration, but losing so much is a head trip, isnt it?  There are somedays I feel huge.  I made a joke about flying over the handle bars in spin class and a couple slightly chubby women made jokes about how I would float down like a feather but they would make a thud...I couldnt figure out who the hell they were talking about.  LOL.

As for being in shape...maybe I am ok.  I am my own worse critic.......I still feel so out of shape.  But it is amazing how hard I can push myself...its got to mean something.  And I have some pretty good size muscles to boot.  And my resting heart rate is 60 now...thats got to mean something.  But I got 6 more weeks to kick butt and get as strong as I can.  I am so happy my boot camp instructor and my trainer are so psyched to help.  I feel like I am training for an event.

Thanks for posting this Missy! I am worried about the same. I miss the gym when I can't get there. I put my group fitness trainer courses/apprenticeship on hold as I won't be able to finish before surgery (with the kids now home for school) and then assuming a good 6-8 wks post-op before I could even complete a 1 hr class without even having to think about teaching. I just hope to be back able to do this sort of stuff before Christmas (surgery is booked for Aug 31st).

So excited for you.  What are you having done?  I am getting the LBL with a vertical (to get off all that pesky skin) and a breast lift without augmention.  If I get implants I will do it later when I get my arms done...

Surgeon thinks I can get away with an extended TT and a lift.  I could probably get a reduction but he feels I might end up being too small with a reduction vs. just a lift.  He feels that I will be a nice full C when done (where I'd be a B if I went the insurance covered reduction route).  Am hoping my arm will bounce back a little more but I think they will be on the "to do list" for next year some time.

Dear God - you aren't kidding. I was an H when I was nursing my kids and a G for the past 4 yrs and up until about a month ago even. I'm finally into a DDD but it's still a tight fit depending on the bra. But there's no tissue left - just sad, droopy skin.

I'm in the same boat Missy...can't imagine not going to the gym every day.  It's such an integral part of my life.  I'll probably schedule my work in late Sept/early Oct so I'll at least be somewhat normal for the holidays.  I really don't want to be in compression in South Texas during the summer months.  I was back to weight training about 17 days after my VSG, but I know this is a MUCH bigger surgery.  Good luck hon.

Yeah, sooooo not looking forward to compression garmets in summer.  But as a photographer I am working non-stop oct until xmas, and I just cant miss a year.  The AC will be blasting here in Houston!
