I had an lbl - but I believe that fleur-de-lis is not a procedure in and of itself but rather more discriptive of the incision/scar you'll have.  The two types of tt's I see referenced here are fleur-de-lis and anchor cut.  Perhaps you can ask your ps if you're having a fleur-de-lis or an anchor cut.

What did your plastic surgeon(s) say? Did they suggest options and explain what to expect? Have you looked through before and after shots to find before pictures that look similar to yours to see the possibilities of surgery?

I know the doctor is going to do the ancor and the vertical cut at the same time.  So I won't have so much extra skin above the belly button.

A fleur-di lis and an anchor cut are the same type of incisions. It looks like an upside down "T."  I needed one because I had a ton of extra skin above my belly button.  A regular tummy tuck focuses on the removal of skin below the belly button.
