Well I am home laying in the recliner!! Sore Very sore But I will be just fine.. Came home with pain pump and 2 drains!  May back hurts BUT I can never lay on my back without it hurting so I was prepared for my back to hurt!!!! I am so very thankful that I was able have this done I know I will be so happy even though i still have the binder on  I still can tell I will be one happy woman! Had a wonderful surgeon and his staff was terrific! Had my proceedure done as an outpatient!  My daughter is a nurse and is staying with me until Monday evening, so thankful for that also!

As for your back, I have the same problem.  If you can get a small pillow under the backs of your thighs on the recliner, that helped me a lot.  It took a little more pressure off my lower back.

Whoohoo! You are a new woman. And yes, I also found that putting some pillows under my legs on the recliner helped take the pressure off my back. Best wishes on your recovery!

Glad to hear you're home and doing well. Your back may be hurting from being positioned on the OR table for surgery. Lucky you're daughter is a nurse and can stay with you - that's great.
