My new butt almost knocked me down

Well you go gurl! and your my new hero! LOL

I am LOVING being able to look down and see the girl parts! it is surreal everytime I look in the mirror. I am swollen as all get out, but it will be so worth all the  pain when all the healing is complete.

I am not sure exactly how much lipo he did on me, but I do know he took off a good 12+ lb of tissue and skin. When I go back he said he would have me a total of how much he took off.

I am just happy to be the skinniest between me and my sister now! LOL
OMG! I never thought I would refer to myself as skinny anything!

I didn't even want to exercise at 6 weeks after my LBL and butt aug much less 2! I still got tired quickly at that time and frankly was scared to do anything to compromise my healing. I think that is too early personally to be jogging but that's just me. I didn't lose my balance with my butt aug but it sure felt strange once I started doing cardio.

I'm not going to jog anytime in the near future- I will just stick to the treadmill and some step aerobics for now within my time limit for cardio.

When you say it felt strange, was it because you were moving faster, or just because it felt different? How lond did it take for the strangeness to leave?

It just feels different.  At first when I stopped jogging it felt as if my butt was still moving but it wasn't of course.  Hard to describe.  Anyhow it took a few months for that sensation to go away.  I'm not a jogger so it didn't happen often but when I do it's when I've jogged a long distance or doing jumping jacks or something like that.

I'm 2 1/2 years out from the buttlift with aug and I've never been able to run since surgery, but not for the same reason as you!  Mine has been pain.  I don't know if it's the way they are sewn on, but they shake up and down and hurt when I run.  He said one time that the fascia covering the muscle is really thin and sometimes the needle takes a little bite into the muscle.  Don't know what to do about this, he says the way to get rid of the grafts is to lipo them out, but I paid a lot of money for them!!

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that---wow- I never contemplated the possibility of having to give up running. Does it hurt when you do anything else exercise related?

 How funny!  Maybe they make special sport shorts to hold butts tight like they do sports bras.
