My new butt almost knocked me down

I had a butt augmentation a little over 2 weeks ago with my lbl. Today I decided to try a little jogging during my allotted 10 minutes of cardio.  My new behind nearly threw me for a loop after the first few steps- it was jumping up and down so much, even with my compression garment on. I could not keep my balance straight enough to run well at all.

I almost choked laughing because I could only imagine what it must have looked like from behind.

Did any of the rest of you who've had a butt augmentation find your balance just a little off? If so, how long did it last?

I'm doing okay. Today was exhausting. I finally had to take a suppository, and that made things a whole lot better! I plan on taking a shower tomorrow, and start walking more often. I have been up about twice today to get some walking in. Does getting up to go to the bathroom count?

The drains are doing well, and the pain isn't horrible. I have been taking the pain pills when necessary. I guess I just don't take well to pain. You are my inspiration; I hope to be right there along ya at two weeks out!

You will be- it's amazing how large the increments of improvement were from day to day. I'm glad to hear you're moving around. The first day I walked the halls there at that hotel, an old man gave me the stink eye, I guess because I was moving too slowly. I just got to where I didn't care- I moved however I needed to and at whatever pace I needed to.

You listen to your body. We've got a great surgeon in Dr. LoMonaco, and there are great results coming. The pain will start to lessen up each day and by the time you are ready to go home, you will be feeling much better.

Keep me posted! (Oh, and since you are in the same room we were, don't fully trust that microwave. It can really burn things if you don'****ch it!)

I was just cleared to work out yesterday but only very light cardio.  I just started with a slow walk at 2.5 but I didn't notice anything difference with walking.  Since your only two weeks out, you might want to check with your doctor about jogging since you felt things shift like that.

No, I am not going to try any more jogging, even for a few steps until I'm much further out. He said I could do step aerobics if I wanted, as long as I stuck with the 10 minute rule, and I think I will just keep to that and the treadmill.

Well, like 2 weeks and a few days out, but yes, he gave me the clearance to start doing cardio this week, 10 minutes, and then I can add 10 minutes more each week after. I can do only a 5 lb weight, but it's better than nothing.

I do feel really good. I had only a minimal amount of lipo, and I hear that's what's really hard on the recovery.

You are not a woosie- you've had some major work done! Are you happy with how it's progressing? I'm still so trying to get used to my new body.
