I wore my binder all the time until about 6 weeks and then if I felt swollen after that. I would wear a thin tank top under it so it wouldnt rub my skin.....  Congrats on your new body!!!  :)

I generally wear mine all the time.  I have the velcro wrap around kind.  I found that I have to wear a tank top underneath it and that helps with any irritation.

Today, after my shower I forgot to put it on when I went out to run errands.  While I was in the grocery store, I was paying for my laziness to not go back home and get it when I realized I forgot it.  Right now I'm very sore and puffy from not having it on.  I just finished my 4th week.

My ps did tell me that I can wear something like Spanx now instead of the binder under dressier clothes if I want.

I also just got the okay to go back to walking on the treadmill but only very light walking; so I'm starting out again at 2.5 mph.  I didn't ask about swimming.

I wore my binder for about 8-12 weeks after my TT.  I think you have to wait about 4-6 weeks before doing any exercise. Sitting out in the sun for a little while is pretty much always ok, though!
