Lower Body reductions - ladies respond pls
Ladies-
I am going to see a plastic surgeon today (6/18) for a consultation. I have a duodenal switch (DS) and I am within 39 pounds of my goal.
I'm concerned about how my lower body is going to look after hip/thigh/butt surgeries. From my reading, I've seen that women tend to end up with angular, boyish body contours after surgery. I want to remain curvy, but tighter.
Has anyone ended up with boyish-looking contours after their surgery?

I'm only about 2.5 wks out of my lbl and ba/bl, but I am definitely more curvy now. Preop, I had worked so much of my hips off with exercise that my waist kind of blended in and I had a rectangular shape. With the muscle repair that came with the lbl and especially with the ba, I have curves, finally.
I had a maxi tt with lipo and I still have curves (granted my azz is saggy and I am cool with that at my age) but I have some curves and feel great about the way it is going so far (3 weeks now)
I chose not to have the LBL or thigh life or boob job, I did have the upper arm lift and I am super happy with the way I look... Not over done for my age and body type IMHO.
Hubby is very happy I kept the natural boobs (they sag, but look good in a VS biofit bra). I have areas that could be toned, but hey who don't at almost 44 right?
I am guilty of having thunder thight, but that ok.. if I was ment to be 100lb skin and bones with no jiggle I would be already!
I feel like I now have the body of a woman, not a obese woman... if that makes any since at all.
