The girls have landed!
I wanted to thanks you guys for your support before my surgery. I had a BA/BL on Monday. I ended up 550cc silicone on each side. Whoa! I'm 5'8 and 174 so I'm not tiny....they fit my body well. I had a TT in Feb, so I thought this would be a piece of cake....day 1 and 2 were very painful, but today, I feel good and I'm ready to get outside. Again, thanks for the well wishes!
I think I'm going to be very happy with these once they drop into place! I know 550 sounds ginormous, but my ps said that silicone ccs run higher numbers than saline.
As far as recovery, day 1 and 2 were painful, then day 3 was pretty good. I used narcotic meds for two days, then switched to tylnol PM. On day 4, he let me switch to aleve and that hits the spot.
I'm soooo glad I went through with this! I was way more nervous than I was with the tt, but I had the same ps and I trust him. My torso looks much longer since the girls aren't hanging anymore! Now, all I have to do is wait....
