Still here...round 2 postponed till July 1st
Ok so I was ALL gung ho and ready (well NOT really) but June 8th was here and I was ready for June 10th...alas it was NOT in the plans. Although we aren't doing anything to my breasts, my mammogram pn 5/25 showed some lymphnodes and they wanted to do an ultrasound. Couldn't get in before the 10th...plastic surgeon was like no we need to do it before. Ultrasound showed the lymphnodes and PCP wants to do biopsy scheduled for June 21st.
While I'm NOT thrilled I'm also not upset. Things happen for a reason. NOW I get to come here and read all the plastic surgery stories till then.
So tell me anyone newbies got their arms and legs done recently...I'm STILL absorbing info!

Sorry about your postponement of surgery. I love your attitude though! I totally agree that things happen for a reason. God has a plan for us all.
I had my arms done on 3/31/10, but just had my legs done on 6/1/10. It's going well. This recovery is slower and obviously has more mobility issues that my previous lbl/brachio. By this time in my last recovery, I was able to take walks at the park for an hour. Now though, I swell and am uncomfortable if I am up on my legs for too long now. It is getting better, it's just slower and I'm getting a little stir crazy and impatient. The pain has not been anywhere as bad as I thought it would be, in fact there hasn't been any real pain to speak of, mostly tightness and being sore and a little uncomfortable from time to time. Even with the mobility issues this surgery has been easier than I was expecting. I have to say that it's totally worth it to not have my thigh skin giglling around when I walk. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the thigh lift or brachio. I will be praying for you. Take care and God bless you.
