 HI All,

I had my pre-op today. Everything went well. I asked lots of questions---as usual! I was excited to hear that he will redo my entire brachioplasty and side chest skin. So, the scar will go into the armpit and down and keep on continuing all the way down to the waist.

In case you don't know my story---I had a brachioplasty and the side chest skin removed in July 2008. I also had a tummy tuck in June 2008. The scar from my brachio went from elbow to right above bra line. The scars stretched out and the arms were still heavy. So, I had lipo on my arms in November 2009. This gave more skin to remove and took away the bulkiness. Now, I am  having the brachio revised. I am adding in flank removal. I had a pic in my profile of my  back rolls. He is going to take the incision all the way down my sides and pull that skin out. I don't expect not to have any rolls, but I expect major improvement. Right now, they are huge rolls that hang and show through everything.

My surgery is next Friday, June 25. It is a 6 hour surgery. I will have 4 drains and wear this binder.

Anyways, I am getting excited. I really want my arms repaired and I hope that they will be okay!

Best,
Kimberly

Isn't it exciting?  I had my pre-admission testing yesterday too for my second phase on 6/25!  We'll be surgical sisters.

My surgery is scheduled to be 7 hours, but might be shorter since the size of implants I picked may not require much of a breast lift.  My PS said I wouldn't need drains in my breasts but I will have one in each thigh.

Best of luck to you!

Lisa
