No, I am not totally flat. I still have a small "pooch" of fat around my belly button and one on ONE side of my waist only.  I also am a bit concave in a, inverted  triangle from below my ribs upward to under my breasts because when the TT incision turned necrotic and I had a giant crater in my belly once theyh removed all the dead tissue, when it healed up the tissue did not quite reach the level of the areas surrounding it.

Other than the one spot on my waist, though, I don;t have a muffin top (sitting or standing).  I will probably eventually break down and have someone lipo that spot becasue it drives me crazy that I am not symmetrical!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Great post!  I wonder sometimes too.  Now when I am at my skinniest 137-139, My stomach is concave when standing. Almost feels like I can't breathe my stomach is so tight.  (I have an anchor cut tt).  Other times my stomach like now when I am at my avg. weight 141-144, I am still flat, but not concave.  I can not pinch anything standing up, but when sitting in a chair, I can squeeze a little bit.  I think for me not having a naturally skinny tummy, this is perfect.  If I have anything sticking out (never really a muffin top), it is because I am trying to shove my size 6 ass into a size 4, and ass tends to overflow sometimes, lol.  But overall, I feel like the bit of tummy thats left is completely normal :)

I think it's still to early to tell my final results being only 9 weeks post op; I still have significant swelling. However, I already know I'm going back in the fall for an additional removal of skin above the belly button; I definitely have a bit of a roll there and my Gosh I look like the Buddah when it swells. The doctor explained WHY it's still there (something to do with the incision, how high he could take it/not take it because of the breast lift, etc.) and is doing it free of charge and under local anesthesia. I am hoping after that to be totally flat.

My stomach is flat when I stand up when I sit down I see the skin kind of pool up but not a muffin top or anything, just kind of sits there nothing gross or anything.  But standing up its flat, especially first thing in the morning, I do swell on any given day even 3+ years after surgery.

Okay, you take the record for swelling the longest so far out!  18 months is what I have seen on here in the last few years.  Gosh, I didn't want to hear that.  Oh well, it is what it is.  I got tired of complaining about it so much that I've just accepted it and go about my normal routine and try not to dwell on it.   I had a revision 3 months ago and even though the swelling isn't as bad as it was initially, it still happens.  No one notices but me unless I make a point and show my swelly belly to my family so they don't think it's all in my head.

It's nice to see people share their responses on here.  I'm not a newbie but it makes me feel better!

Thanks for sharing,
Melissa
