Hahahahaahahahaha!

I made it ladies! I had surgery and everything went well.

I got to the hospital at 9:15am - went into pre-op at 10 on the dot and plugged me up to everything.

My surgeon came in to see me and mark me up, next the OR nurse came in to ask me if I had any questions for him and then my anestia hunk (no not really) came in. I called him my life for a few hours. He laughed and probably thought I was crazy. HAHAHAH! I didn't care and I was not nervous at all. NO EVEN IN THE ER.
They had me scoot to the operating table and that was the last of it. Next thing I hear was the nurse calling my name like if I was in a desert!!! GEEESH she was loud! but no pain. I was just sleepy and thanking god for allowing me to wake up. Really I was.

So I am here not just resting, sleeping and on liquids till tomorrow's appt. I am walking like an old lady and hoping I am just a little bit better by Thursday for both of my daughter's Pre-k and 8th grade graduation. I just know I have to take of myself for now. My husband goes back to work on Tuesday and kids to school. I hope I do good until my sister makes a pit stop. She is awesome and my mom helps out a lot too.

Everyone thanks for posting your encouraging comments. LOVE!!!! Well..... this is it for now. I have a new belly button, I never thought it would be this high, but it is my normal spot and this tummy that I hope to see soon.

TTYL!!!!!

YAY!  Awesome news!

Calling your name like you were a dessert?  Well, you are Yummy aren't you?

Every day you will get better and better.  Yes, you must take care of yourself; as my DH reminds me all the time "6 weeks, not 6 months" so that when I try to do too much I have to follow what the doctor tells me so that I don't have any set backs.

Keep track of all the things you notice for the next several weeks, you'll be amazed at how things are all different now with a new tummy.

Sandie,

It's great that you're doing so well.  The high belly button...I know!  It takes some getting used to to have your navel where it is SUPPOSED to be.

Good Morning Everyone!

Well today I woke up feeling good. Minor aches without any pain meds yet, but I feel good. I took myself a sponge bath and washed my hair. I was okay with it by myself. I walking around the house but nothing extra that would make me force me to do something to myself.
I am taking it easy. I just had coffee....Ahhhhhhh! It tastes so goood. I've been on liquids since Thursday. I need for, but I notice Im not that hungry. I will be going to my doctor's office today we shall see how I do.

Thanks for your comments ladies.

I'm glad everything went well...please be careful at the graduation. Maybe they can get a wheelchair for you? I went to a reception a week out and I really hurt and got a little dizzy.
