I had my panni removed may 3rd...when I am standing up I am flat, flat flat...but the minute I sit down, I have all this "muffin top"...has anyone been able to exercise to get rid of it?  Any good ideas that anyone has used?  I am tempted to try a slender high rise brief....thanks, Monica

My Doctor told me since I didn't have a full TT and just the Pannulectomy I would have a fuller top half of my tummy she also said I could excersize (sp) my brains out it will never be flat cause the muscle is split from pass weight bummer...so when I win the lottery I will have the rest of the full TT..they told me to get a slender brief too...but I'm so happy that fats gone below..AMEN !!! how are you feeling ??

I had my panni done in November. I still have the "muffin top". Depending on how much is fat, exercise may help. Mine is all just skin, so the only way I was told to get rid of it is to have it removed. I'm so happy to have the panni gone, but I am so sick of dealing with the muffin top. For now, I wear tank/cami bodywear to smooth it and I try to buy clothes that are flowy in belly area.  I do still wear the briefs sometimes, but they don't usually go high enough or they roll when I move. I also went up pant sizes after surgery. I went from a 6 to 8/10. I think it's from him pulling it up where it belongs and I can't tuck it down anymore LOL.

Good Luck
Doreen

Best thing I've found is start looking at other women.  Even the real skinny ones have a bit of a muffin top!

I agree with wondering. Most people have SOMETHING when they sit down and wear jeans. Well maybe those that may be a size 0 and 18 years old may have nothing. My point is that not every single person will end up totally flat, especially sitting down. I had and anchor cut and then later had a revision 8 months later with my stage 2 PS and had a little more skin remove from that anchor cut and when I sit down without my garment, I STILL have a small roll. Let's face it, I was morbidly obese my ENTIRE life, had 3 kids, lost 1, I just turned 40, I have tons of stretch marks (even on my shoulders which I hate). My skin is just bad bad bad. Do I want to look like some of the women on here that have beautiful skin and were probably only overweight in their adult years and look awesome in a 2 piece and show their pictures to us all the time? Of course I do. But that isn't me. I just have to be grateful that I look 10 times better than I ever could have imagined and be happy that I was fortunate enough to do something to fix it.

Sorry if I got on my soap box but this is just what I have to tell myself or I would nit pick my PS to pieces. If you think your skin is excessive then you could always talk to your surgeon about doing a revision and see what your options are.

Good luck!
Melissa
