TT Itching?

I have a TT revision that is almost a year old.

6 months ago, it started itching from the inside out.  My PS says it nerves healing.  He gave me extra strong anti-histamines.

I have trouble sleeping because of this many nights.

Has anyone had this experience, this far out from surgery?

I'm not that far out, but my goodness sometimes I think the itching will drive me MAD!!

I don't want to take antihistamines because I don't like the side effects...so, I guess I'll just have to SUFFER.

Hope you get some relief soon.

I'm only 4 months out, but my incision does itch...mainly on the edges! If you had a 2nd surgery, it makes sense that there was more nerve damage. I sure hope you get some relief!

I'm finding that caffeine makes it worse.  The anti-histamines seem to be helping.  THANKS.  :)  Hope you have a great healing period and a beautiful result.

I'm only about 2.5 weeks out from round 1 and the itching started early last week.  The topical itching is the incision healing, that will go away; but what you're describing is a PITA!  My surgeon has me taking benedryl which is fine for while I'm off but I can't take it once I go back to work.  So I'll have that discussion with him then.

Aside from itching, I also get the needle *****ing pain in other areas too.  As annoying as it is, for the results that I have, I'll gladly put up with it.

Yeah, those *****ly feelings are a little annoying, but worth it when you look in the mirror and see NO POOCH!  lol.  I really do believe that my nerves must have started reactivating deep inside later than the ones nearer to the incision.

Eucerin calming creme works good too.
