I am truly not imaging this. See, my incision is abot covered up with swelling compared to 2 days out. Will be so excited to fit back in to my before clothes. Smaller would be great but right now my goal is to just fit in my 05-19-10 clothes. I can tell in the pics that the swelling has moved around since the first pic so I am sure it will take just a little more time and all will be wonderful!

You are looking great! How are you feeling? I had mine done last week.

Thanks! I feel ok. I am walking again every evening. I am only to two miles and not as fast as was before but working on it. The swelling is the worse part. I want to wear some before clothes.
I am still sleeping in the recliner.  I did try my bed a couple of nights but feel better in the recliner.
Just knowing the limits is tough. The only restrictions I had was to not lift more than 15lbs. But still when I go to bend over to pick something up or when I do lay down and I go to get up and I know I am using stomach muscles and I am worried that it is tearing something inside.
Just paranoid, I know crazy!!!
Are you feeling ok and not swelling much? Ihad surgery on the 20th and came home on 21st took pain meds one time on the 22nd and nothing after that but a tylenol if needed. I read the constipation stories and decided I did not want to go through that for sure. I drink the low cal/carb/sugar Atkins drink everyday and that helped me with that problem.
I hope you are doing great!!

Thanks, yes, I'm doing better each day. I walked almost a mile (not at once) on day 5 and swelled after that. Still have some in my lower right belly. I am cleared to do 10 minutes of cardio a day starting next week. Can't wait! Baby steps lead to bigger steps.

Does it still bother you to sleep on your back? I know what you mean- I absolutely do not want to tear anything or mess anything up!

You are tough! I'm on Tylenol now, but the pain pills really helped the first few days.

Keep up the good work!

Yes, it does bother me to lay on my back. Well, I think it is more the thought in my head should I lay flat or not. Should I still prop myself or not. I think it would pull if I were to lay flat on back and legs straight.  I was able to lay on side one night and haven't since. Will stick with recliner for a while.
