Can I just say OUCH!!!! OMG that was super painful. Getting the drains out left me shaking and crying. The one that hurt that hurt the most was my left breast drain, it felt like it was attached to my nipple on that side and when he pulled it out it felt like he ripped my nipple out from the inside. I'm am so happy that's over with.  The Dr said everything is healing beautifully and I go back in to see him in 10 days.  As for now the my husband has gone back to work and now I have to take care of the 3 kids myself, not really looking forward to that.  My 9 yr old daughter is already driving me nuts needing all of my attention and I just want to take a nap. Pray that things get better daily.

Sorry you had to go through that in getting yours out. My breast drains came out while I was still in the hospital, and the other two came out Tues. It was such a feeling of freedom! Pulling those drains out really did make me feel like I'm on the road to recovery.

I am praying that your road gets easier and easier, too. Put up a Do Not Disturb Mommy sign if you have to!
