2 wk update on Breast reduction & panni removal !

Hi All well it's already two weeks ago today I had my Breast reduction lift and panni removal. Wow what a difference two weeks makes..the healing is going great and the frains were removed from my mons area yesterday on day 13..Thank God those things are horrible..the removal for me was painless it just felt coolness as it was comming out..no pain at all..

now I still have leaking out on my side incition but my ps said it was just still drainage and it will stop..this whole journey is unreal..of course because I didn't get a full TT I have not got a flat top tummy but hey I'm very greatfull that they were both covered by my Ins. so i figured now I had a RNY 2008 BR and panni removal 2010 thats probably close to over $50,000. worth of surgerys paid for so I'm NOT complaining..thank you God...well the numbness along the lower incition is numb but I can't wait to feel some normal feelings down below in the near future..
Did any of you guys leak out on your side of your incitions ??
 if so how long did it last ??

 
                                                        

My right one leaked the entire time. It was taken out the first week. Never had a problem with the left one. I am two weeks out today and I still have the right one in and it is supposed to be taken out on Thursday.

Hi Raniana it isn't where my drain was it's my side I am having to wear a big bandage to catch the leaking..it's a pain...

I'm so happy for you Des! Wow, that's so great that you were able to get it all covered by your insurance. I don't have any drains this time (Thank God!) but with my 1st surgery I had four. After each one was pulled it drained for about a day or two until it closed up. I just put a small gauze pad over it to catch the drainage.

My drain sights aren't leaking it's on my hip side wear I was glued together..theres a leak..my surgeon said it would stop but it hasn't ..I am going to give it another week if it doesn't stop leaking I will call the hospital to see if I need to be sewed up better or reglued ! oh boy..the things we do to ourselves to be beautiful..lol
