sorry one more question......Hello everyone, I had a tummy tuck on saturday and was sent home with Keflex capsules. Can we break down these capsules after gastric bypass?

I came home with the same thing Thurs. My ps said I could absorb them, so I'm taking them. Best wishes on your recovery-

I took them after both of my procedures. Didn't have any problems. I believe they have you on them as a preventative for infections as it's a pretty powerful antibiotic (I believe that's what my mom said and she's a nurse). I'm thinking they worked b/c I didn't have any problem w/ infections but that could be just b/c I wasn't going to get one in the first place, who knows.
