I'm jealous too - what an incredible body you have now and I love the placement of your incisions. I hope when it's my turn I look half as good as you do.

While you say and I'm certain you feel that swelling, from my point of view, as someone who hasn't had surgery yet, it doesn't look very swollen. I am amazed at how much skin he cut off your legs - that picture is priceless LOL with the ruler.

Thanks Skylar, no need to be jealous. I'm sure your results will be equally as amazing! I think Dr. Mazaheri's placement of all of my incisions is briliant! I just love that guy! I thank God for him and all of the talent He bestowed on him. He has been worth every penny and more!
I know the swelling isn't bad as far as some people go, but for me it's tight, uncomfortable and makes me feel a little claustraphobic. I know I have been blessed that a lot of swelling to me is a little swelling to someone else. It is still uncomfortable though.  I was most swollen the day after surgery and yesterday I looked six months pregnant and my thighs were huge! I felt pretty crappy and uncomfortable. But even with that, it still hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. I pictured, huge thighs popping at the incisions! Glad that is not my reality so far.
I know, about the skin. It's crazy! I love that he places the ruler in the picture so you have size perspective. It's so crazy to see parts of your body laying on a table, independant of your body. Surreal and quite weird. LOL!

 Definitely part of your results depends on skin quality. The skin on my thighs were in pretty good shape except on the innermost upper part of my thighs. The skin there was severely stretch-marked and thin. The skin on my breasts was not at all in good condition, after breast-feeding three babies and gaining and losing over 100 pounds twice in my life. The skin was quite bad, one of the first plastic surgeon's I consulted with told me how bad it was and how difficult it would be to work with my breasts due to the condition of the skin. My stomach skin was stretch-marked and thin in places, I would get irritated from sweating and rubbing during workouts. My skin was definitely not the worst but it was quite damaged by what I did to my body. I think most of your result has to do with the skill and qualification of your surgeon. People like us have to choose surgeon's who have the experience and expertise to work on the stretched-out, thin, damaged skin of a formerly obese person. I am so thankful to God for leading me to my surgeon Dr. Mazaheri. This is his specialty and it shows in his work. I'm so glad I choose him. I do not believe I would have had this result with another surgeon.
I don't mind at all sharing my procedure costs. It was around 23,000 for my 1st surgery, lower body lift/ abdominalplasty with muscle repair and bi-lateral brachioplasty. That was all inclusive with a 2 night hospital stay in a really nice private room. The second surgery was 18.000 and that was for full bilateral two-dimensional thigh lift, thoracoplasty and breast lift. Again all inclusive with a one night hospital stay. It was worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

LMAO! That cracked me up! It would be a lot cooler here in Az if I did that but somehow I think my husband might object!
