Hey guys and gals,

Just a few quick questions.

First I am scheduled to have a lower body lift and inner thigh lift on July 13th and my arms and possible breast implants five weeks later.

My question is has anyone ever done their surgeries like this?  Also what is the pain going to be like.  My surgeries are going to be done at a certified surgical facility instead of the hosptial so no overnight stay.  I am only 30 minutes from my surgeon.

So what is the pain like?
Will I be able to shower?
I will be out of work for 10 weeks if this enough time?

Thanks for your help.

My surgeries are in my siggy.  I just had the first round.  There is pain, but not nearly as horrible as I expected - I was thinking I'd be barely able to move.  However, everyone's tolerance for pain is different.

As for showering, that's going to be up to the protocol of your doctor.  Some doctor's allow it, some do not.  Mine does not allow it until the drains are out.

10 weeks?  Should be, I'm going to be out 8 weeks but only 8 weeks because my job requires air travel so my doctor added on an additional two weeks.

What you're asking is all going to be up to you and your doctor and how well you handle the surgeries.

10 weeks should be plenty of time.
My ps ( in Brazil) let me shower 2nd  day.
Pain was really just the muscle work(TT).  I didn't have any pain meds after I left the hospital(2-3 days).  I do know hospital meds are stronger, though.

Good luck!  Get plenty of water, protein and REST!
