I too was happy with my tummy, mine was done on 05-20. Mine was very flat and last night mine was a swollen I thought quite a bit. Today it is swollen more and I feel so different.
Are you still putting pillows under knees? Do you get up and walk alot?
My tummy feels so numb with an occasional spasm inside. My clothes are still no where close to fitting me.
I have read several posts concerning swelling and in time I think it will go down. I am just not sure at what point may it be too swollen.
We will get through it!!

Haven't heard about the pillow under the knee's, what does that do? Yes, I walk alot. Im just bumed. I was so thrilled, it looked awesome. Now, its saggy, strech marks are showing and I feel like have a muffin top. I to feel different...it's depressing. I had 6lbs taken off and my clothes barely fit, just doesnt seem right. I dont even know for sure if mine is swelling, i sure hope that is what it is. All I know is that it does not look the same as it did a week ago or less. I go see the doc tomorrow for my 2 week check up,  have alot of questions for her.

I will keep you updated as to what she has to say. Your right we will get through it. I guess patience is not one of my strong points.

As far as I know the pillows under the knees is to keep from stretching muscles back out before they have time to heal. Did you have muscle repair? Do you lay flat in bed now or on you side?
My tummy looks fuller now and also is so hard. It is not saggy. I had 5.5lbs removed and my clothes do not fit. Not one thing I have fits. I am having to wear big sweat pants.
Patience is definitely not one of my strong points.
Let me know how your appointment goes tomorrow. I go back next Monday the 14th. That will be my 3 1/2 week appointment.

Yes I had muscle repair. I still sleep in a recliner, not totally flat. I stand up straight and have from day 1. I wasnt told not to. I will keep you informed on what she says tomorrow.

Everyting went good. Said I am healing well. She said that is is swollen, but that I would be a little fuller because I have lost so much weight there is still skin from other places like my  hips and lower body that play a part. I am totally flat when I stand its only when i sit i see a little roll or bend over which makes sence. Did you have a LBL done? Im thinking thats what i need next, wonder what the cost is on that?

No I did not have a LBL and have no idea how much this costs. Sounds like I better start saving although my arms have to be done first. I am not totally flat when I stand. I will have to see if I can get more pics and post them. My daughter will help me if I can keep her home long enough.

Swelling normally gets worse before it gets better. The swelling isn't so bad right after surgery and then it really kicks in. Hopefully yours won't last for months but swelling can last anywhere from 3-6 months and even up to a year for some. Just give the swelling time to go away. It may be months before you see the final results. It will get better.

OH NO ! Not months before I can wear a piar of my before pants. I really need to be in a dress for my son's wedding July 3. I am so worried by the time I travel 18 hrs on the 1st that it swelling will set in for days. Teh show must go on though so will just have to get another plan in place just in case my dress won't fit.
