Butt lift and lateral thighplasty next month-- ooh..and my ass in mah face!

Not only having the butt and thighs put back into the same zipcode, but also having my ass fat injected into my face. How cool is that? A cheek to cheek transfer!

I've had more or less everything sewn up, and I'm only having the butt and lateral thighs this round-- inner thighs will come later if ever. Anyone with any experience, can you give me some idea:

1) Did you lose any weight from it? (I lost 9 pounds of belly skin, but the scale only showed 3! I have stayed swollen-- I retain water madly.)
2) How long was the procedure?
3) Did you have it done outpatient?
4) Where exactly are your scars?
5) Any complications you didn't anticipate?
6) What was recovery like?
7) What do you think of your results?

Ruth (moosie1234) had both of those procedures and she had the butt augmentation where the flap of skin is done to give more volume to the butt. She would be a good one to talk to. She is on a little vacation right now and is not able to be online as much. She's due home in a few days. Maybe you could shoot her a PM and let her know your questions. She's very informative and helpful.

I had the butt lift done with the flap grafts. It made my butt somewhat better, but not exactly how I'd like it (but that's me and not the fault of the surgeon).

I DO want to hear more about the lateral thigh lift. Can you explain it? I have saddlebag skin that did not improve with any of my plastics. I've had the medial thigh lift already.

I know literally nothing about the lateral thigh lift-- I believe the incisions are lateral, in the crease where your leg hits your bottom-- and the real deal thigh surgery is the one I may have later, with the long vertical scar. I'm not thinking the lateral one will accomplish much-- it's the inner thighs that are a crepe-y disaster.

Have a question for you ...Can they inject the fat they remove right then into the face and is it an easy process. I am having Lipo at end of the month and was wondering if that can be done .. I have to go in for the preop later this month prior to the precedure and will ask him but wanted something to throw in when I do .
I have the lines around the mouth and dont want the regular injectons they put in ..

For the kind of deep lines the formerly obese have, they told me injections wouldn't work. I had a lower face lift which helped to great extent, although it was a little conservative, cost about $4500.

I had the butt lift and lateral thighplasty done this past Tues. as part of my lbl and ba/bl. I also had auto-augmentation in my butt.

So far:
Did you lose any weight from it? He took 2 lbs. of skin from the back. I haven't been on a scale yet post- op. He did get 5 lbs. from my belly. He did a little lipo at the very top my left thigh to get fat for the aug. I didn't have any in my flanks.

How long was the procedure? This part took about 2.5 hours.

Did you have it done outpatient? No- because I combined other procedures with it

Any complications you didn't anticipate? None

What was recovery like? Not too bad so far. Walked almost a mile yesterday (not at one time)

What do you think of your results- Love my thighs- am looking forward to having the fat injections settle in my butt and the swelling there to recede. I am VERY happy with my surgeon's work.

That you can walk a mile in a week is a miracle to me! I had a HUGE surgery last summer and was bedbound for weeks, so I am understandably anxious about this'n, although I am thinking it's much less involved.

Last summer was a breast lift, brachioplasty (a massive one), an abdominoplasty, and hernia repair-- I was on the table 12.5 hours, and in pain what seemed like forever. It was a full month before I could care for myself at home.

Glad to hear this sounds less involved. Did you have drains for the backside and legs? How long?

Thanks! I paid for my walking today with some Texas sized swelling, so I may not be getting that ambitious today, although physically it's very do-able. I have two drains, but I think they're all purpose for my back and front.

If you get get through 12.5 hours, this one is going to seem like a walk in the park. Hoping the best for you-

I had a circumferential LBL 6 weeks ago that involved auto-augmentation of the buttocks and ab muscle tightening. I dod NOT have a cut below my cheeks, my cut is at the top of my cheeks. The PS took about 9 inches off my back and pulled everything up.

My upper thighs look so much better. The saddlebags are totally gone and most of the dimpling is gone too. I still have wrinkles on my inner thighs but those are actually less also. It's improved enough that I've decided that I'm not going to have the medial thigh lift.

What I didn't expect was for my thigh muscles to be so sore and to feel the auto-aug, I guess I thought it's fat tissue so it would be soft, but my butt is firm. I'm also having a lot of tailbone pain.

Total recover took about 5 weeks, though I was doing pretty well by week 3, just tired.
