Does saggyskin"fill-up" with fat?
I am three years post-op and thinking about plastics...my concern is did I wait to long? My lowest weight was 152 and I am now at 158. But IFEEL SO MUCH FATTER! mY SKIN IS NO LONGER SAGGY AND HANGING - I can't believe I miss that look - but is now much firmer (yes, I exercise and aditionally lift weights twice a week) and thicker. I didn't take any measurements prior to one month ago. I finally took my measurements because I am concerned that it is all in my head - that my skin isn't really "filling up with fat". UGH!
No, I am not crazy - just a bit concerned that I may be on the path to regain and I have missed my plastic surgery window of opportunity!
What do you think?

Hey there,
I think it is common to regain a little bit of weight. We weigh about the same and I can tell you that 5 - 6 pounds does make a difference. I know I feel the same way just gaining anything. I had vein surgery in March and Plastics in April so I haven't worked out on a regular basis, (hopefully next week back to the gym). But anyway no you haven't missed your window!! You need to have your weight stable so you don't mess up your surgery by gaining or loosing. I would say get some consults and see what a PS says!! Good Luck

I don't think you've missed your window either. I don't think saggy skin "fills up with fat". It might actually be shrinking to fit what you have left. The skin takes a while to shrink up, the fat comes off much faster. So that might be what you are experiencing. Also, a little regain will make a difference now that we are smaller people overall. Now, if you truly feel you are on the "path to regain", now is the time to but the kabosh on it! Stop it now before it turns into more. But a 6 lb regain is not going to make you no longer eligble for plastics. I say go get some consults!!

Yep....I noticed it after having my first kid. The fat and of course baby were no longer there...but it took the skin many many more months before it shrunk back into something decent! The skin is just slower than the fat loss!!
