Juvederm?

I am scheduled to see my doctor for Juvederm injections to fix the nasolabial folds  (the "parentheses" around my mouth)... they make my face look SO old now that the skin droops.

Just wondering if others have had this done (and how happy they were with the results) and if it took 2 syringes or just one...  at $500 per syringe, the difference in cost is significant!  (I'm less concerned about the area along my nose... those were there even when I was young and relatively thin)... it's the lines down around my mouth that bother me a lot.)

I had it done on lines that were starting, and won't bother again. I had 2 syringes, and they said the results are better if you follow up with more in 6 months. Bah. It did nothing but leave some lumps at some of the injection points, that took close to a year to resolve, and the huge bruise she left on one side left my cheek discolored for months!

I'm waiting til there's enough sag that a plastic surgeon agrees on a face lift.

I had pretty significant depth to my "parentheses" and needed only one syringe. It was well worth the money to me...what a difference in my face!!! I was thrilled after my first round of injections which lasted 14 months until I needed another "refill". Your price quote is very reasonable. I live in the New York metro area on "the Jersey side" and paid $800/syringe. It's pretty painful but worth it...also be prepared for a lot of bruising.
