my  dr notes did say adominplasty  on codes.   idk what the code was but it came up that when i googled the code. so do i have a flat ab or tummy No  but it is alot   alot better and i am 56 yrs young!! so I won't be wearing a bikini or anything. It sounds like mabe you might want to investigate it more . I wish I could have had an anchor but I don't heal well  at all and that was to much. I hate the muffin top   I have .I put a couple more up for a short time go look at my 2 weeks out and it  shows more  I might take some pics tonite I got off track and going through some personal issues .

Denise, I am 58 and am thinking about starting to talk PS.  I would like to see your photos but i still cannot view your profile.

I am only one, But still, I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do
the something that I can do.

Not sure if my last email went through or not so I sent another one to be sure, do you think you would of had the same results with an adominoplasty? Also by the side view  one it looks like you were really swollen in the pic so Im sure it will be much flatter than it is now...

I was a size 8/10 going in.  Do not know what size I am going to be yet cause I still have my binder on and am wearing baggier clothes to prevent rubbing.  I was fortunate enough that my PS did an anchor cut panni removal meaning he took off the upper skin too, so that I would not be stuck with the muffin top.  After he removed the upper skin he did pull down the upper skin and cut out the lower skin.  He also lifted my mons area.  I have been so fortunate with my PS, I just love him to death.  Good Luck

Hi Leigh Ann,

Was your mons area sore?  I am looking into having some PS done and am trying to decide which is best for me, the panni or the abdominoplasty.

Thanks in advance for the info!!

Blessings,

Nina

Hi the panniculectomy is for people who have a huge amount of hanging skin on their stomach i got 20 pounds taken off of mine. if your thin already youll maybe want to get a tummy tuck where they tighten your stomach mucsles with that. With a panniculectomy thats for heavier ladies or men over 200 lbs I was told by the surgeon. Pannis peoples skin is hanging down to their legs. Insurance paid for all of mine because of health issues! Ans rashes and sores i would get all the time especially walking. Good luck  cathgal for harrisburg, pennsylvania.

Could you tell me who your surgeon was and how to contact him.  I have had a pannus for 8 years and am 64 years old.

Hi, Nina

Sorry it took me so long to respond.  I didn't notice someone had asked me a question.

No my mons area was not sore.  I had no pain what so ever.  I did not use the pain pump in the hosp no meds orally or anything.  I am very fortunate for my outcome.  When I went in, I was wearing 8/10 and now I am in 6's some 8's but they are too big and I have to roll the waist band down, but some 6's are just a tad tight or I just can't get them buttoned.  LOL.  So I have to suffer with the roll of the waist band.

Sorry I am not much help, I have just been lucky.
