Scar revision

I am having a revision to the end of scar under my breast and where my port used to be (had lapband removed) Does anyone know if the revision is painful or is it pretty simple?

I guess it depends on how big the scar is going to be. I had two small areas around my TT that needed revised, both spots about a half inch long. They numbed the area, cut out the bad scar and stiched up the wound. Slight tenderness once the drugs wore off, no pain.
