I am too. dial makes dry skin worse!! I've had that prob before i even had my bypass. using a more moisturizing body wash and lotion has helped. part of it I think maybe the skin is all tight and not use to the new moisture and lack of moisture because its in a new position. I think it will get better over time. at least I hope so.

I have been complaining for days about how dry my skin has gotten.  I am two weeks out from my TT & BL/BA and I feel like a reptile!  I was wondering this morning if it was the Dial soap. I normally use a body wash instead.

Just an update - I said I didn't have dry skin...guess what I noticed today?

I'm still just doing sponge baths but using pre-moistened towlettes and not soap and water.  The only area affected is the mons area near my JP drains and only on the left side.  The dry skin is translucent-like and flakey like mashed potato flakes.
